2025 so far….
- Trained and matched 5 new volunteers (January 2025)
- We have 19 active partnerships working at present
- We run monthly volunteer meetings to share knowledge and support
- We ran a successful Christmas event for students and volunteers to drop in.
- We successfully bid for lottery funding putting our charity on a stronger financial footing
- We have built our network of charities which support us including the Rotary and 41 Club.
- A trustee was invited to talk on Ipswich Community Radio about the charity (December 2024)
- We have increased our supply of core reading resources
- The rooms we use for student meetings and resources have been redecorated with new furniture
- We will attract, interview and train 6 more volunteers to enable us to grow the charity at a pace which is sustainable.
- We plan to hold a quiz night in October 2025
- We continue to fund raise to keep the charity financially viable
- We are exploring new ways to support our dyslexic students
